Appointment requests

When you send a booking request, R8 Energy receives your name, email, optional phone number, property address and postcode, property type, preferred date and time window, and any notes you choose to provide. We use this information to review your request, contact you and arrange your assessment.

These records are saved in the website’s hosted database. The booking management page is restricted to the R8 Energy owner’s signed-in account. Your private status link shows the request reference, preferred visit, appointment status, any confirmed date and time, and messages from R8 Energy. It does not show your name, address or contact details. Anyone with the complete private link can read that status information.

Records remain saved until R8 Energy removes them. The owner can review and delete requests from the management page. Contact R8 Energy if you want to discuss, correct or remove your request information. Please do not include sensitive personal information in the notes.

Your checklist

The home page’s visit checklist stays separate from booking requests. Choosing “Save my checklist” saves only your checklist selections and property type in your browser on that device. These selections are not sent to R8 Energy. Use “Reset checklist” to remove the saved checklist. Downloaded checklists and receipts remain wherever you save them.

Hosting and essential processing

The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure. The booking form uses a hidden anti-spam field and temporary request counters to reduce abuse. The counters use a hash of the connection address and expire from active use after two hours; expired entries are cleared when further requests are processed. Booking forms are not saved as browser drafts.

Hosting providers handle network requests and any sign-in needed to access the site. Their own service policies apply to that processing. This website does not add advertising or analytics scripts. Links to other websites open services with their own privacy policies.

Keeping your link private

Save your receipt or private status link somewhere secure. If you copy or share it, the recipient can check the request’s status. Deleting the request removes its status page information from this booking system.
